HAM (Hardly A Mystery)

So the dynamic group hailing from Pietermaritzburg, KZN has made a move once again! Their release of their awaited single titled CHOMAM through social media shows that you can do just about anything if you put your mind to it. This unsigned act has proven once again that their versatility knows no limits. They have shown that you can take something as simple as meeting up with a friend and turning that into a concept which results in a hit. You know you're in for a banger whenever you hear "It's HAM N*gga" as well as "The BreakOut Empire". Their producer as well as teammate Mass, The Mind has a name which suits him quite well as he has produced the beats for every track that they've recorded as HAM and they all contribute with their versatile rhyme-schemes into making each and every track a hit. He has also produced a beat for KwestaDakar which will be featured on his upcoming album Dakar 2. They rock the stages in and around PMB without a shadow of a doubt as they find it fun to perform to people, they make sure that the people have fun watching them perform as much as they have fun doing it. They truly live up to their name as they seriously go HAM on every track as well as it being "Hardly A Mystery" who brings the heat when it comes to music. As HAM is rapidly becoming a movement in PMB, we wish nothing but the best for them and a very prosperous future. We'll be interviewing these hit-makers in the beginning of October, in the meantime you can listen to the hits they've dropped.
Enjoy.

Witness The Funk

So there is a whole lot of controversy at the moment as these guys head out there as people all feel that Witness The Funk is South Africa's very own Rae Sremmurd. I believe otherwise as these guys have made a name for themselves and actually started their own movement. Its amazing how Durban has managed to break into the music scene and start making its own and keeping them there instead of kzn acts having to move to Joburg to pursue their dreams and i salute these guys for switching the scene up a bit and taking it right back to Durban. With catchy lyrics and unforgettable beats, i applaud Aux Cable for his work and the whole of WTF for making use of the beats in a way that entices the people to song along and dance to their tracks. Their hit single Nomusa has done them a lot of justice and it is exactly that skill of bending the rules and not conforming to what others have set is what made these guys very noticeable. Without going any further, how about we just let the music speak for itself and Witness The Funk!!
